Practitioners should consider the suitability of the chat function for each Service User and also consider other methods of communication: telephone call, email and letter when appropriate.
This page shows how to search and CHAT with a User
Step | Screenshot | Description |
1 | Login as Practitioner on portal and click on Home to view the Dashboard Page. Click on CHAT button to communicate with assigned Service Users or other Service Users, Practitioners or Supervisors. | |
2 | CHAT window can also be opened by clicking on the CHAT button on the side menu on the Home page | |
3 | CHAT window gets displayed with the list of online ‘available’ assigned Service Users. You can only chat with Service Users who are available which is denoted by a green dot next to their name | |
4 | To start conversation with the Service User’s name displayed on the left screen, click on their name. OR Search Contact – Type part or full name of the user to be contacted on the search contact space Chat window opens on the right side. | |
5 | Type in the required message and click on the blue arrow button for sending the message to that particular user | |
6 | The message sent gets saved and can be viewed on the chat window. The latest message is at the bottom and the oldest on top of the page. |
